Every Member a Minister

We believe that in order to live out Christ’s teachings we must follow His command to make disciples of those we encounter. Here at St. Patrick Parish, our hope is to make “Every Member a Minister” which will help to ensure that anyone who comes through our doors sees the best possible example of Christ’s love in action. There are many ministries to get involved in. We encourage you to review all the possible ways that you can make a difference in our community and, more importantly, in the lives of all we encounter through Christ.

Make a Difference in Our

Parish Community

Service is an essential part of Christian life – it is the heart of parish life. The concept “Every Member A Minister”, comes from the scriptures and the experience of the early church. St. Paul wrote to Ephesians, So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up… (Eph 4:11-12). Every Christian is being called to ministry, not just full-time “professional” church leaders. Every person is uniquely created by God and each one of us is spiritually gifted by the Holy Spirit to build the church. This means that every person in the church – young and old alike – is an essential means to the proper functioning of the Body of Christ, our faith community.
